3. Dwayne Haskins has crazy potential

No one can knock what J.T. Barrett did for Ohio State. He was one of the most successful quarterbacks in school history and his career in Columbus was a heck of a roller-coaster. However, Dwayne Haskins’ upside is unbelievably high.

The former four-star quarterback was originally committed to Maryland but decided to flip to Ohio State because it was a dream offer of his. He’s been patient in his short time at Ohio State and earned some playing time at the end of the 2017 season, helping the Buckeyes beat Michigan and finishing the year with 565 yards and four touchdowns with a 70 percent completion rate.

Although people may look at Ohio State’s quarterback position as a weakness because of the lack of serious experience and loss of Barrett, the Buckeyes are in good hands.

Haskins could be one of those under-the-radar Heisman candidates this season and it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see him pass for over 3,000 yards with 25-plus touchdowns. He’s also extremely accurate and has good leadership qualities.
