2. Best backfield duo in the nation

Is there a better backfield in the country than JK Dobbins and Mike Weber? Probably not. Add in Jaelen Gill as a true freshman, the No. 30 recruit in the 2018 class, and you have one of the most terrifying running games in college football and potentially the most talented.

Weber replaced Ezekiel Elliott in 2016, rushing for over 1,000 yards as a redshirt freshman and he looked like a future All-American for the Buckeyes.

Then, he began the 2017 season with an injury, giving way to true freshman Dobbins. He rushed for 1,000 yards as well, forcing Weber to take a backseat as Urban Meyer rode the hot hand. They still combined to rush for over 2,000 yards and 17 touchdowns. Weber may no longer be the No. 1 option for the Buckeyes, but he’s good enough to start on just about every other Big Ten team.

Combine Dobbins and Weber and you have one of the scariest backfield duos in the nation who could take some pressure off Dwayne Haskins in his first year as the starter.
