College Football: 2018 season previews for top 100 teams

The countdown to the kickoff of the 2018 college football season continues to draw closer. The Saturday Blitz staff has been working through 100 of the top teams, counting down to No. 1

The offseason is too long, but the good news is we’ve finally passed the midway point and we’re precious days away from the 2018 season kicking off on August 25. Yes, that’s the newly named “Week 0”, but it’s college football, and we’ve been waiting for it since the National Championship Game ended in January.

On our way to the start of the season, the Saturday Blitz staff is taking a deeper look at 100 of the top teams in college football. Before it’s over every Power 5 team will have its own preview and several of the Group of 5, Independent and FCS schools of note will have their own analysis as well.

The profiles include a sneak peek at the offense and the defense, a recap of how each team got to where they are now and a closer look at the 2018 schedule, including a prediction for the upcoming season. Think of them as your little bit of college football to hold you over until the season is here – it’ll be Saturday in the fall soon enough.
