They say the hardest thing to do in sports is to repeat a championship. Here’s how Alabama football can get to the College Football Playoff once again.

Last year the College Football Playoff committee came under fire for letting Alabama into the Playoff with a loss to Auburn and no SEC championship game appearance. Additionally, further questions were raised about the selection process when Central Florida beat Auburn in the Peach Bowl.

While the outrage subsided quickly after Alabama dominated Clemson in the Sugar Bowl and eventually beat Georgia in the CFP National Championship game, there’s no doubt the committee will review its selection criteria for the coming year.
