9. LSU

The LSU-Alabama game will be an interesting one this year. Both teams will be coming off a bye week, which makes the game more like a bowl game, instead of a regular season game, where one team has had extra time to prepare compared to the other.

But wait, there’s more. The game will be played in Baton Rouge. In Ed Orgeron’s second full year as head coach, LSU will have a reasonable chance to interrupt Alabama’s perfect season.

Come on now. Did you really think one of the greatest coaches of all time, with two weeks to prepare for a game, and two phenomenal quarterbacks would lose to a team who has a very young secondary and no definite starting quarterback?

With both teams having run-heavy offenses, we should see the usual slugfest of a game between these two SEC powerhouses. Ultimately, experience will be the difference maker in this game, giving Coach Saban and the Tide the upper hand.

Final: Alabama 21 (9-0) – LSU 14
