Ohio State football is coming off a Big Ten championship and Cotton Bowl victory. What is the outlook for the Buckeyes in 2018?

In 2017 the Ohio State Buckeyes won the Big Ten championship and scored a victory against USC in the Cotton Bowl to conclude the season. This would be a conclusion most teams would be ecstatic to achieve, but for the Buckeyes, they underachieved.

The loss to Oklahoma early in the season stung but did not keep Ohio State out of the playoff chase. In early November though, the Buckeyes suffered an inexplicable blowout loss in Iowa City, effectively ending their chances for a playoff spot.

With 2017 now behind them, the Buckeyes can focus on getting back to the playoff this upcoming season. There are pieces to replace, but Urban Meyer has the recruiting train running like a well oiled machine. It is scary how much talent he has stocked in Columbus.

What will this year hold for the Buckeyes? Let us look into the crystal ball for some game-by game predictions.
