There was a time when UL-Monroe was upsetting Power Five programs left and right, but that was long ago. The Warhawks are coming off a 4-8 season in 2017 and they faced just two Power Five foes, losing 42-14 to Auburn and 42-10 to Florida State.

Expect much more of the same in this one.

Though the Warhawks return eight starters on offense, including starting quarterback Caleb Evans who passed for 2,868 yards and 17 touchdowns last season, Texas A&M should have their way with this team. The aerial attack is the only aspect of the Warhawks’ game that could provide trouble for the Aggies. Sure, the Warhawks were fourth in the Sun Belt last season in rushing, but the Aggies should shut Derrick Gore down.

Moreover, Texas A&M is going to score at least 40 in this one, potentially even 50, due to the fact that ULM’s defense was one of the worst in college football last season. How bad? How does 41 points per game allowed and 532 total yards per game allowed sound? Yeah, not so good.

Texas A&M should have a field day in this one and we may even see a 250-yard rushing performance from Trayveon Williams.
