Rutgers football coach Chris Ash has plenty of experience coaching in the Big Ten. 2018 marks his third season with the Knights. It could be the best one yet.

Rutgers head coach Chris Ash took over a Rutgers program that was one year fresh from its first season in the Big Ten. He now begins his third year at the helm of the program.

Ash has been building the program up and despite two consecutive losing seasons under his watch, he still has high aspirations for the team this year and beyond.

This season has the prospect to flip the fortunes of Rutgers’ most recent failures. The expectations aren’t lofty but even a .500 season is a step in the right direction.

Ash is in full throttle mode in his commitment to making this team a perennial contender in the Big Ten. This won’t happen overnight, though.
