A popular pick to finish last in the SEC East, Vanderbilt comes into this in a bit of a dry spell. The Commodores will have faced Notre Dame, South Carolina and Georgia in three of the four previous games and they could be searching for answers while Derek Mason could be squarely on the hot seat.

This would be considered a must-win for Vanderbilt seeing as it’ll have three straight road games awaiting it following this matchup with Florida.

Unfortunately for Vanderbilt, Florida will be on a two-game losing streak and it’ll be angry and motivated. Dan Mullen is an excellent coach and he knows how to get his guys prepared to not let two straight losses snowball into three, four or even five.

Feleipe Franks will have a nice bounce-back performance against this decent secondary and Tyrie Cleveland will go over 100 yards receiving in a breakout performance, of sorts. Add in another 100-yard game for Jordan Scarlett and you’ll see quite the offensive game for the Gators.

Kyle Shurmur and the Vanderbilt offense will struggled for the fourth time in five games.

Final Score: Florida 37, Vanderbilt 20 (5-2, 3-2 SEC)
