Clemson Football: Can Tigers extend Playoff streak?

Clemson Football is poised to make another run at the College Football Playoff in 2018. The Tigers will be a force to be reckoned with this season.

Clemson Football had a very good season come to a screeching halt in the College Football Playoff semifinals. In a rematch of the 2016 national championship game Clemson was beaten pretty handily by eventual champ Alabama 24-6.

Transitioning from Deshaun Watson to Kelly Bryant seemed like a tough task at times during conference play, but he was unquestionably the X-factor that made the offense hum. When he got injured versus Syracuse and couldn’t play in the second half, the Tigers were upset in the Carrier Dome by a team that could be a dark horse contender in the ACC.

The defense was very good all season long, as they had multiple games where the opposing offense couldn’t get anything going against of the best defensive lines in the country.

This year should be another good one for Clemson football fans as they are clearly the favorite to win the ACC, and should have another shot at making the playoff.
