Bill Snyder has been retained for five more seasons, making Kansas State fans very happy. He’s one of the best coaches the sport has to offer and he’s made the Wildcats relevant, which hasn’t be an easy task.

With over 200 wins at the school and a stadium named after him, he’ll get a chance to pull off one of the biggest wins of the 2018 season.

Texas will come to town with a 4-0 record and two big wins under its belt in consecutive weeks. That’ll make this game even more interesting. The Longhorns haven’t ridden a high like this in some time and they may not know how to deal with it.

Unfortunately, that will lead to a tough road loss in Manhattan.

Skylar Thompson and the Kansas State offense will still be slightly underwhelming through three quarters, but they’ll put together a strong fourth quarter to close the door on the Longhorns.

Even against a lackluster defense, Sam Ehlinger and the Texas offense will struggle in their first true road game of the year — Maryland is technically in a “neutral site” in Landover.

Final Score: Texas 17, Kansas State 26 (4-1, 1-1 Big 12)
