4. Dwayne Haskins leads air attack

After being in Columbus for what felt like forever, J.T. Barrett has finally moved on. In his place is the ultra talented Dwayne Haskins. Buckeye fans are anxious to see what the young kid can do and he is sure to not disappoint.

Haskins won the backup job last season and appeared in eight games, mostly in clean up duty.  He threw for 565 yards and four touchdowns with a completion percentage over 70. Most memorable was his entrance into the game against Michigan for an injured Barrett. He managed the game well, completing 6-of-7 passes for 94 yards and carrying the ball three times for 24 yards.

Haskins is a former top prospect from 2016, ranked as the seventh best pro style quarterback that year and the 91st player overall. He has a cannon for an arm and the Buckeyes should unleash the deep ball. The downfield passing game disappeared at times with Barrett at the helm, so the offense may be more balanced now with Haskins.

Three of the Buckeyes five opponents in September are Oregon State, Rutgers and Tulane.  Uh oh for those teams. Their secondaries are going to get lit up by an air raid from Haskins. He will top at least 300 yards in two of those games and will have a solid start to the season.
