Week 4: Texas A&M at Alabama

Honorable Mention:

  • Texas Tech at Oklahoma State
  • Stanford at Oregon
  • Wisconsin at Iowa

Week four serves as these predictions’ first dependent score in order to make it accurate. If, and that is a big if, the Texas A&M Aggies can pull off the upset in week two against the Clemson Tigers, it would undoubtedly propel them into the top 25 and set up a huge early SEC showdown between them and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Regardless of the week two result, this matchup serves as an intriguing one as it will not only represent a huge conference contest, but also two prestigious coaches in Jimbo Fisher and Nick Saban.

The Aggies might need a year or two to get settled under Fisher and his highly ranked recruiting classes, but this team will not be without opportunity right away as a treacherous schedule could give them a shot to soar high up in the rankings and national discussion.

Texas A&M has not appeared in a College GameDay hosted game since they lost 33-14 in Alabama back in October of 2016. The Crimson Tide lead the all-time series 8-2.
