Since the departure of Johnny Manziel, Ole Miss had the Aggies’ number. The Rebels won three straight before stumbling at home last season. Texas A&M still leads the all-time series 7-3, and given the disparity in talent between the two programs it’s not realistic to expect Ole Miss to have extended success against Texas A&M going forward.

Jimbo Fisher inherited what some would call exorbitant expectations when he accepted a $75 Million contract and become the head coach in College Station. With early games against Clemson and Alabama, he might not have much margin when it comes to November losses. Avoiding any semblance of a November swoon will be crucial, and that’s not good news for Ole Miss.

Trayveon Williams is the real deal and the Ole Miss defense is not. He’ll pick up 100 yards, and then some as the Aggies start another winning streak against the Rebels.
