One of the biggest benefits to coaching at USC is the ability to bring in five-star quarterbacks each year. After losing Sam Darnold, the Trojans held a healthy battle to replace him with J.T. Daniels, Jack Sears, Matt Fink, Holden Thomas and Trevor Scully going to war.
Daniels, a true freshman, claimed the job for Week 1, but things can always change as we have found out before with the Trojans.
Whoever lines up under center will have some of the top talent in the league to work with in Stephen Carr, Aca’Cedric Ware, Tyler Vaughns and incoming receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.

A total of 24 players return that saw starting time on either offense or defense. Senior linebacker Cameron Smith leads that unit along with John Houston Jr., Iman Marshall and Ajene Harris.
