Since 2016, the Nittany Lions are a perfect 14-0 at home with wins over Michigan State (2016), Ohio State (2016) and Michigan (2017). Beaver Stadium is one of, if not, the toughest places to play in all of college football. From the White Out Games to the chants of “We Are”, coming away with a win is no easy task. And for 2018, nothing should be different. Penn State’s home schedule will have them in the driver’s seat for another run at a Big Ten Title and a berth in the playoff.

Michigan State on the other hand, has played the same amount of games at home the past two seasons but has an 8-6 record. The Nittany Lions and Michigan State only have one home game in common, both having the luxury of hosting Ohio State. And while the Spartans host the Michigan Wolverines, Penn State welcomes in the top of the Big Ten West, the Wisconsin Badgers. So it’s pretty even along the boards until you get to the tiebreaker.

This season’s matchup between the two teams is hosted by Penn State. The Nittany Lions feel that they should’ve won their game last year in East Lansing and will be playing with a grudge on Oct. 13. In what could be the biggest game of the season for both teams, the Nittany Lions will win at home, like they have been.

Playing over half of your games at home is always a pleasure, but winning them is all that matters. And that’s exactly what Penn State does.
