S Patrick Johnson, DE Isaiahh Loudermilk, and TE Zander Neuville, Wisconsin

Wisconsin is currently ranked fourth in the nation and is the favorite to win the Big 10 and make it to the College Football Playoff. They are a solid team with a chance to take the next step as a program after making the Big Ten Championship Game five of the last seven years.

The Badgers have numerous players on the injury report, including a few starters. Johnson, Loudermilk, and Neuville are three important players that will be out Week 1.

Johnson is a backup safety and may have got some playing time in Week 1 behind starters D’Cota Dixon and Scott Nelson without his injury. He is currently dealing with a head injury.

Loudermilk was slated to be one of the starting defensive ends entering the season, but he is still recovering from knee surgery and will not be available for Wisconsin’s game on Friday against Western Kentucky. He played in six games last year as a freshman and accumulated 10 tackles and two sacks.

Neuville is still not ready to play after having ACL surgery last December. He had nine receptions for 81 yards last season in seven games. He also had two touchdowns and could have a breakout year if he gets healthy this season.
