Though he may not be getting the same hype as his teammate Felton Davis III who could very well be one of the top receivers chosen in the 2019 NFL Draft, Cody White has all the star potential needed to become the third Big Ten Receiver of the Year since 2014.

As a freshman, White accounted for 490 yards and four touchdowns with 35 receptions. His breakout was a major reason we saw the transfers of Hunter Rison and Trishton Jackson out of the program.

Standing 6-foot-3 with a strong 230-pound frame, White just looks the part of an All-Big Ten wide out and he’ll have all the targets he could ever want with Davis III getting most of the attention of Big Ten defenses. He’s already developed a strong connection with quarterback Brian Lewerke and we’ll see that continue in 2018.

Michigan State’s offense will see a major uptick in production and it could start in the passing game with Davis III and White.
