Was there a scarier addition this offseason than former five-star wideout Demetris Robertson to the Georgia Bulldogs? Probably not. Kirby Smart got a steal in Robertson who decided to head back home after a couple of seasons at Cal.

During his freshman season at Cal, Robertson was a stud, finishing with 50 catches for 767 yards and seven touchdowns. He suffered through injuries as a sophomore and played in just two games.

Fortunately, he’s getting a fresh start in Athens. Plus, he’s been granted immediate eligibility, making him a threat to all SEC cornerbacks right away.

Some may argue his breakout already happened, but everyone in college football will know this kid’s name by the end of the season. Georgia was already a scary team, but add in a speedy deep-threat like Robertson and you have a back-to-back SEC title threat.

Robertson is going to make Jake Fromm a very happy camper.
