Ronald Jones II was drafted by the Denver Broncos last season after a 261-carry, 1,550-yard season with the USC Trojans. He might not have even been the best rusher on his team.

Freshman JT Daniels won the starting quarterback job at USC. As a true freshman, that’s no small feat, but he still has a lot to learn about the college game. The running back position is a lot more straightforward, and Carr has a year of experience on his backfield partner.

As Daniels grows into his position the Trojans will lean heavily on Carr to shoulder the burden. That’s going to mean a lot of touches, a lot of yards and much more than three touchdowns.
