Maryland prevailed as an underdog against Texas football last season. This year, the Longhorns will claim a road victory.

The Texas-Maryland matchup was one of the most exciting games in the opening week of college football action last season.

In a game that was flush with points, Maryland pulled off the surprise upset victory against a favorited Texas team on their home turf by a final score of 51-41.

The game served as a reminder to all college football teams — all games matter, even if it is Week 1 of the season.

In the home-and-home series, the Longhorns aim for revenge and hope to come out on the winning side of the matchup. Even though they will be playing far from their home state, the game is being played at a neutral site at FedEx Field in Landover, Md.
