The first month of 2018 marks non-conference season and the start of Pac-12 play. Here are three bold predictions for each Pac-12 team in September.
Hope springs eternal at the start of a new season. The slate is clean, and every fan base is still allowed to dream about the possibility of big things to come in the near future. Once the action starts on the gridiron, those dreams begin to dissipate as fans and teams are forced to come back to earth.
With the 2018 college football season fast approaching, things will begin to heat up soon for the dozen teams of the Pac-12 Conference. Multiple schools have brought in new head coaches, others are dealing with turnover of high-profile players, and uncertainty is the name of the game this time of year.
Soon enough, teams will be forced to reassess their goals for 2018. Right now, though, everybody enters September with hope of big things to come. Everything is possible in these last waning moments of the preseason.
