2. Defensive line was dominant in flashes

Led by potential No. 1 overall NFL draft pick Nick Bosa, the Ohio State defensive line looked like the best unit in the country after their performance against Oregon State.

Bosa put up amazing numbers as he recorded a handful of sacks and scored on a fumble in the end zone. He was clearly the most impactful defensive player in this game and kept quarterback Conor Blount for Oregon State on his heels the entire game.

Chase Young also stepped up and the talented sophomore should continue to make plays against the Scarlet Knights.

Young and Bosa will continue to terrorize offensive lines all season and this was an impressive performance by the potential All-American candidates.

The only major concern for the defense was its inability to stop the run. That could be a major concern as the team heads into conference play.

Artavis Pierce ran the ball 11 times for 168 yards and two touchdowns, and the defense as a whole gave up 196 yards on the ground. This will definitely be the focus in practice all week.
