1. Mike Weber is back to his old self

Mike Weber nursed a hamstring injury for a majority of the 2017 season and his lack of availability paved the way for JK Dobbins to become a freshman sensation in the Buckeye backfield.

Weber showed in today’s game that he is still one of the best running backs in the country after his performance. He ran the ball 20 times for 186 yards and three touchdowns.

Weber was able to muscle his way for his first score and then used his elusiveness to take it to the house for 49 yards on his second score.

Dobbins had a good game as well running the ball 15 times for 74 yards but didn’t find the end zone. This game was about Weber showing opposing defenses that when he is clicking on all cylinders he can’t be stopped in the open field.

The Ohio State defense has some concerns they will need to work on but this was a good performance by the entire team. They face the Scarlet Knights next week to open up Big Ten play and I expect a better performance by the defense in that one.
