Texas A&M football easily dispatched the Northwestern State Demons, but is this team for real? Here are five “overreactions” from Thursday night’s beat down.

Texas A&M beat Northwestern State 59-7. The game was not particularly difficult, but the Aggies did what they were supposed to do. Did they score every single drive? No. Did they spread the ball out and let as many players see the field as possible? Yes. As Jimbo Fisher would say, the team played great situational football.

Basically, the Aggies beat a no-name team by more than 50 points and now is the perfect time to overreact, so without further ado- let us do so.

5. Jimbo Fisher is likely the best hire in Texas A&M Football history

This is the number one reaction I have seen on social media thus far. The Aggies have had quite a few head coaches since the program began, but after one game many fans have dubbed Fisher the best. Is that true? Who knows- it has only been one game. However, the Aggies have been known overexaggerate and get over excited about little things.

What I can tell you is that Jimbo Fisher has brought a change to this program that hasn’t been seen in years, a very positive change that could bring this team to new heights. First things first though, these guys have to help their coach learn to “Saw Em’ Off” properly because he looks a little lost still.
