1. This team must be the real deal, College GameDay is coming

Now, here is the one that even I call absolutely crazy. Aggie fans are convinced that this team is a national championship contender this season based on the fact that College GameDay has made the decision to film live from Aggieland for Week 2.

However, the question is actually this. Is College GameDay coming because these two teams are duking it out for something big or is it because Jimbo Fisher and Dabo Swinney are facing off yet again? I’d be willing to wager that the latter is the more accurate of the two scenarios, but of course, crazier things have happened in College Football than a first-year head coach who already has a national title under his belt winning another one.

We likely won’t ever really know why this decision was made or how much this game really means to the Clemson Tigers. However, this game seems to be everything to the Aggie faithful. I haven’t seen fans more excited for the next week’s game so quickly before now. One thing is for sure, this game will show if the Aggies are for real this season or if we are just in store for another 7-win or 8-win season.
