1. Offense will have zero turnovers in September

One thing the Badgers had problems with last year was taking care of the football. Of course, Hornibrook had his issues with the interceptions, but it was also fumbles from Taylor and the running backs and even some of the receivers.

First and foremost, if Hornibrook can limit his interceptions to half of what he had in 2017, this offense will be borderline unstoppable. It is hard to count how many times quality drives stalled due to his picks or a fumble by someone on the offense.

With a much more experienced group and a lot of players on offense returning, it is safe to assume head coach Paul Chryst and his coaching staff have working on this issue all offseason. Especially with a new-look defense, the importance of taking care of the ball is all that much more important on offense as they do not have a top five defense (yet) to pick up their mistakes like they did in 2017.

Chryst has been proven to be able to make adjustments with this program and these players trust and respect him like no other. Do not be surprised if this offense goes near perfect in the month of September before heading into the heart of Big Ten play.
