Clemson football began the 2018 campaign strong, easily dispatching the Furman Paladins. Take a look at all the major reactions of the Week 1 contest.

Most big-time programs try to schedule a “pay to play” game in Week 1. The coaching staffs want to see how players execute at game speedand fine-tune their depth charts before facing a quality opponent.

The Tigers weren’t challenged at all by the Paladins on Saturday, and there could be a major quarterback controversy for the team as both played well, but for now, there may not be a major shift in the balance for the offense.

As the running game saw a new face emerge as a potential leader in the backfield, which was very surprising to a lot of people following the Tigers this offseason, the defense caused havoc all game long.

The Tigers will be a force in the college football playoff landscape all season long, but that doesn’t mean some of their fans might have pie in the sky visions after the win.

Here are some of the major overreactions Clemson fans might have after this decisive victory.
