Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic: Clemson vs. Ohio State

Outside of Alabama, the Clemson Tigers are clearly the second best team in the nation right now, and could make a case for them being the best team in all of college football. Having the Tigers at the two-seed makes sense.

Pretty simple why The Ohio State Buckeyes get in over the Wisconsin Badgers — their offense trumps Wisconsin’s defense. Except the quarterback position, it is pretty much the same offense that defeated Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game in 2017.

And this wouldn’t be the first time these two teams met in the College Football Playoff. In the 2016-17 season, the Tigers defeated the Buckeyes 31-0 in the Fiesta Bowl. This time around should make for a better game.

These two teams have the best defensive lines in the country, so this rematch will likely be settled in the trenches the second time around.
