After a huge win over Michigan to kick off the season, here are five reasons why Notre Dame football will avoid a hangover against Ball State this Saturday.

Notre Dame avoided a Week 1 loss in an impressive home win over Jim Harbaugh and his Michigan Wolverines this past weekend. The offense showed some flashes, the defense was downright dominant, and head coach Brian Kelly exhibited a confidence in his coaching staff that we haven’t seen in quite some time.

Notre Dame will look to carry that momentum into another matchup at home, this time against the Ball State Cardinals. It has lost some weight in its overuse, but the possibility of falling to a lesser opponent still remains.

Here are five reasons why it’ll have no effect on the Irish as they take on Ball State in the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
