3. Miles Sanders steals the show

Penn State’s Miles Sanders has waited two years behind Saquon Barkley and it is now his time to shine. He did well in his first game as a starter last week against Appalachian State. We should expect him to create more fireworks against Pitt.

Sanders is from Pittsburgh. He went to Woodland Hills high school and of course the Panthers recruited the former number one running back in the 2016 recruiting class. Sanders instead took his talents to Happy Valley, knowing he would have to wait his turn. Now playing in his hometown, Sanders wants to have a big game in front of his friends and family.

Last week, Sanders carried the ball 19 times for 91 yards and two scores. The second touchdown was the game winner for the Nittany Lions in overtime. Against Pitt, Sanders will do even better. Let’s put his stat line at 140 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and a receiving touchdown as well. It will be quite the night for the Pittsburgh-native.
