Alabama football hosts Arkansas 0State in Week 2. The Tide are set to steamroll their schedule. Here are my three bold predictions for Saturday’s game.

The Alabama Crimson Tide dismantled the Louisville Cardinals 51-14 in their week one opener in Orlando, FL. Alabama coach Nick Saban got testy and childish with sideline reporter Maria Taylor over his quarterback controversy, or lack their of. With almost two decades of coaching experience myself, I think the Tide have the right idea in making sure that both quarterbacks are seasoned and ready to play in case of injury or any other issues that pop up during a college football season.

Tua Tagovailoa proved that so far he’s worth the hype machine that made him a  blue chip prospect out of Hawaii. Tagovailoa averaged 14.2 yards per passing attempt while tossing two touchdowns with no turnovers against the Cardinals. Tagovailoa also ran a touchdown as Bama scored three times on the ground as well. The S&P+ ranks Alabama’s offense ninth in the country and the Tide are first overall in the country.

Arkansas State is sitting at 1-0 with an S&P+ overall ranking of 56th in FBS football. The Red Wolves are normally a stingy defensive team but allowed 21 points in a 48-21 win over Southeast Missouri State. Quarterback Justice Hansen averaged 11.8 yards per passing attempt while throwing six touchdown passes and one interception against the Bears.

The Red Wolves will have their work cut out for them to stop the Crimson Tide on Saturday, Sept. 8. Here are my three bold predictions.
