1. JT Daniels throws for over 400 yards and four touchdowns

Stanford has some question marks in the secondary with entering this season. It put up excellent numbers against the Aztecs as they gave up only 113 yards passing on the night.

Daniels had a good first game and I think the offensive game plan this week will focus on scoring quickly and staying out of second or third and long situations.

Coach Helton would be smart to turn the entire offense over to Daniels who could attempt 40-plus passes in this one. If he gets to that number I think he will pick the Cardinals secondary apart.

Daniels was one of the top quarterback prospects in this class and although he should be entering his senior year of high school, the freshman can ball. He won’t be worried about the bright lights or the raucous crown and will put on a performance worthy of the national spotlight.

Expect Daniels to be the major deciding factor in the USC victory.
