Week 2 of college football brought wild finishes, near upsets and absolute insanity. Who were the biggest winners and losers in the latest AP Poll?

The AP Poll didn’t change all that much, which was something that for me, was shocking. The week brought with it quite a few wild finishes that I thought would for sure shake up the rankings, but it didn’t. That is absolutely shocking, but none the less here we go with the biggest winners and losers of the AP Poll heading into Week 3.

My first loser, and the one that I won’t make official with a heading or anything is the Aggies. They stood toe to toe with Clemson, the No. 2 team in the nation, but as of now are still on the outside looking in terms of rankings. They did everything a team should to move into the rankings, and yet here they are still questioning whether they are doing enough and why they aren’t being rewarded for their hard work.

The next two? South Carolina and Florida. Both enjoyed being ranked for a week before falling to Georgia and Kentucky, respectfully. South Carolina looked to hang in with Georgia in the first half, but the Bulldogs took control and ran with it in the second. The Florida Gators, for the first time in 31 straight, lost to Kentucky. It was the end of an era and not a good feeling for those in the Dan Mullen camp.

On that note, let’s get to the other winners and losers. A few teams fell and a few crawled up the rankings. Let’s look through those teams and where they stand heading into the rest of the season.
