The Spartans, Wildcats, and Cornhuskers found themselves losers versus Power Five opponents, shaking up the 2018 Big Ten Football Power Rankings.

Week 2 of the college football season for the Big Ten Football Conference had it all. While the majority of the top teams came away with big wins, the Michigan State Spartans continued their sluggish start to the 2018 season with a disappointing 16-13 loss to the Sun Devils. Meanwhile, the Penn State Nittany Lions shook off their Week 1 slow start and came away with a 51-6 win over Pittsburgh.

But Penn State wasn’t the only team who came away with a big win over an in-state rival, as the Iowa Hawkeyes beat Iowa State 13-3. And joining the Spartans in the disappointing loss category were several teams. The Northwestern Wildcats only scored 7 points against Duke, the Purdue Boilermakers lost to Eastern Michigan on a late game-winning field goal, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers were on the losing end in their game versus Colorado.

But outside of the teams mentioned above and the Rutgers Scarlet Knight who took on conference foe, the Ohio State Buckeyes, the rest of the Big Ten came away with wins in Week 2. But those losses were enough to shake up our Big Ten Power Power Rankings.

Who fell and who rose?
