Oklahoma will have plenty of revenge on their mind on Saturday when they enter Jack Trice Stadium, here’s how Iowa State football upsets them, again.

This game on Saturday is a very important game for Iowa State due to circumstances (Not like it wasn’t important before). With their canceled game on the season’s opening weekend against South Dakota State, the Cyclones not only lost a likely win, they lost valuable playing experience. That lack of play showed against Iowa as their offensive line was dominated by Iowa’s front four and their defense didn’t have the conditioning to continuously hold the Hawkeyes down.

Many Iowa State fans are nearly petrified at what Oklahoma could do to the Cyclones if they perform anywhere near the level they did against Iowa. Luckily for Iowa State, Matt Campbell is a very even-keeled coach who doesn’t get too high and doesn’t get too low. The Cyclones will be ready to play this game, even if starting quarterback Kyle Kempt can’t go —  Zeb Noland is a proven backup.

Oklahoma will be ready to extract revenge from the Cyclones for their seven-point defeat in Norman last year. However, revenge will have to come the next year as Iowa State will find a way to beat Lincoln Riley’s Sooners for the second year in a row. Here are some of the reasons why this upset will occur.
