Mississippi State football is looking for its third win of the season against Louisiana in Week 3. Let’s take a look at our three bold predictions.

It’s been an interesting road to 2-0 for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. The most soft-spoken team in the SEC hasn’t raised any eyebrows with a marquee game or a last-second win, but they’ve won every game on their schedule. Sometimes that’s all that matters, and that’s going to keep them quietly in the mix in the SEC West and perhaps the College Football Playoff picture.

For now, it’s the Louisianna-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns who travel to Mississippi State for their big payday game. The SEC catches grief for their non-conference scheduling, but that’s not going to change anytime soon.

With Kentucky looming (who just snapped the Florida curse in Week 2), Mississippi State would do well to stay focused on the task at hand. Getting their third win is the objective and Louisiana is upset-hungry. Here are three bold predictions for the Bulldogs against the dangerous Ragin’ Cajuns.
