Nebraska football faces a Troy team looking to pull off an upset in Week 3, but will the Cornhuskers be able to get their first win of the Scott Frost era?

Nebraska (0-1) takes on Troy (1-1) as Cornhuskers head coach Scott Frost goes again for his first win. The Cornhuskers may have to play without electric freshman Adrian Martinez, who was injured late in the fourth quarter in Nebraska’s close loss to Colorado.

Troy entered the season with high expectations after winning 11 games in 2017 and defeating LSU on the road. The Trojans suffered a beatdown from Boise State in Week 1 and not much can be gleaned from a 59-7 win over Alabama State.

Troy is attempting to replace four-year starting quarterback Brandon Silvers and Kaleb Barker won the starting job in preseason. The junior has completed 65 percent of his passes this season and five touchdowns.

This will be a good test for Nebraska, but one they should be able to handle.

Here’s three bold predictions for Nebraska’s Week 3 matchup.
