4. Dwayne Haskins will win the quarterback battle

Dwayne Haskins has been one of the best quarterbacks in not only the Big Ten, but in the entire country for the first two weeks of the season. He’s facing a TCU secondary that wasn’t thought of as one of the best in the nation coming into the year but certainly plays that way.

The Horned Frogs are giving up only 106 yards per game through the air and did a phenomenal job shutting down an SMU offense led by Ben Hicks and a talented group of running backs and receivers.

The key to this matchup will be Haskins ability to protect the football. He has nine touchdowns and one interception on the season and has looked very comfortable running the offense. Look for the Buckeyes to take a few shots down the field early and if the receivers are able to get separation Haskins should have an excellent game, out-dueling TCU’s Shawn Robinson who is a first-year starter, replacing Kenny Hill.
