1. Special teams will be key to victory

How good is the Buckeyes’ kicking game? Will they have to resort to field goals if the TCU defense can slow them down in the red zone?

Special teams will be one of the deciding factors and the Buckeyes should feel confident with Sean Nuernberger coming into this one. After a rough freshman season saw him miss seven field goal attempts, he has gotten consistently better each year.

He was 17-21 last season and made his lone field goal attempt so far this year. Neurnberger also has not missed an extra point in his career and should be automatic this weekend.

After only giving up a field goal last week the Buckeyes didn’t have many opportunities for kickoff returns, but speedsters Demario McCall and C.J. Saunders could provide highlight-reel runs in this game.

If it becomes a game of field position Ohio State will have a significant advantage.
