Oklahoma State football has been on fire to start the season and here’s why that’ll continue against Boise State in a ranked Week 3 battle.

One of the most underrated matchups of the young season thus far has to be the ranked battle between Oklahoma State and Boise State.

On one side, you have the Broncos who are playing to become the No. 1 Group of Five team in the country, aiming to earn that coveted New Year’s Six bowl. And on the other side, the Oklahoma State Cowboys weren’t expected to contend much this season without Mason Rudolph, but Taylor Cornelius and that offense has not skipped a beat.

Boise State travels to Stillwater for this major battle, but home-field advantage will only mean so much for the No. 24 Cowboys.

This battle will come down to the wire, but the Cowboys may just have too much firepower for the Broncos to handle.

Oklahoma State has what it takes to beat No. 17 Boise State to make an early-season statement.

5. Receiver depth for Cowboys

All you have to do is go down the roster and you’ll find the Cowboys have numerous talented receivers who could start on just about every team in the conference.

Besides the dynamic Justice Hill who can catch passes out of the backfield, Oklahoma State also has sophomore Tylan Wallace who has broken out through two games, Tyron Johnson, Dillon Stoner and Jalen McClesky.

The passing game will be too much for the Broncos to handle because Oklahoma State has far too many options to be accounted for, and that includes in the backfield.

If it’s not one receiver, it’ll be another to burn Boise State on Saturday.
