Kansas and Rutgers football face off in Week 3 in a battle of conference bottom-dwellers. Here are three bold predictions for the not-so-marquee matchup.

Rutgers (1-1) will attempt to shake off its 52-3 loss to Ohio State as it travels to surprisingly dangerous Kansas (1-1) on Saturday.

This game could end up being a major factor in the fates of Rutgers’ Chris Ash and Kansas’ David Beaty as both coaches try and show progress with their struggling programs.

Rutgers will have freshman quarterback Art Sitkowski available for the game after suffering a shoulder injury on a sack by Buckeye defensive end Nick Bosa last Saturday. He will need to be sharp to stave off a strong and experienced Kansas defense.

Kansas registered its first road win in 46 tries by beating Central Michigan in Week 2 and returns home looking to upset the Scarlet Knights.

Here are three bold predictions for this intriguing matchup.
