Arkansas football is not good, at all. We have learned that much after losses to Colorado State and North Texas. What happened to the Hogs?

Arkansas is struggling. Nothing went right for the Razorbacks on Saturday afternoon and those faithful fans who actually stuck around made their feelings about that well known. With boos heard loud and clear all the way from Fayetteville to my coach, the Hogs are off to a horrid start.

Can the Hogs bounce back this season? Not likely. The season is just about over in Week 3 for Arkansas. Playing in the SEC West is never a cupcake. There are no gimme wins left for the Razorbacks. This team is now pushing for bowl eligibility that will likely never come. I apologize to those Arkansas fans reading this, you may want to stop now unless you want to relive what just happened.

The Razorbacks were knocked out at, 44-17, against a team that they should have easily overpowered. The North Texas Mean Green isn’t exactly the powerhouse that should make Arkansas start shaking in their boots. If anything, when this series was set the Razorback faithful were excited for a free win. That, of course, isn’t exactly how it worked out.

Mason Fine, the junior quarterback for UNT, impressed from the get-go and never gave up. On the other side, Cole Kelley threw four interceptions. The Arkansas defense was not good, at all. New Arkansas defensive coordinator John Chavis has his work cut out for him working with this group. As an Aggie fan who watched Chavis run the Aggie defense, I don’t feel bad for the Hogs- not in the least.

Next. Projected AP Top 25 entering Week 4. dark

At this point, the Razorbacks can only hope that it gets better and that recruiting goes well for Chad Morris and company. Right now, there isn’t much to be excited about for the Razorbacks.
