Running Back: A+

As good as Brown was, it all starts with Dillon. He scored a 45-yard touchdown on the opening drive, breaking several tackles on the way and then breaking away in the open field. He wouldn’t find the end zone again but he affected every part of the Eagles offense and Demon Deacons defensive game plan. It routinely took several Wake Forest tacklers to be able to bring him down and he never seemed to get fatigued.

After Wake Forest was burned on the long run on the first drive, it countered by loading the box with defenders to stop Dillon. Boston College answered with play-action passes that allowed the offense four easy touchdowns through the air. The threat of Dillon’s running opened up those opportunities, making him the most influential player on the field.

It’s impossible not to give him an A-plus for his effort on Thursday night, he was just too good and too influential towards the team’s victory.
