2. Communication is key on both sides of the ball.

The Razorbacks went with Cole Kelley to start against the Mean Green. I can guarantee that these players did not prepare for this team the way they should have, but man it was bad. It’s been bad the last two weeks for the Razorbacks with losses to North Texas and Colorado State.

The biggest issue I see with both of these games? A lack of communication- especially on the part of quarterback Cole Kelley. He has already been replaced for the matchup with Auburn, going with junior Ty Storey over the sophomore. However, that isn’t enough to unsee what happened against the Mean Green. He threw four interceptions and every single one of them could have been prevented with communication between Kelley and his receivers.

The same can be said on the defensive side of the ball. This defense allowed 44 points to a Mean Green team that they should have very easily overpowered. That isn’t to take any credit away from Mason Fine and his offense, it is to say that Arkansas screwed up big time. This defense has to communicate and play as a team. This team is focusing too much on being “the hero” and not enough on being a team.

Communicate Razorbacks, you have to.
