Week 4 of the college football slate doesn’t exactly scream excitement. However, as last week showed, anything can happen. Let’s get bold ladies and gents.

Week 4 only features two ranked matchups- No. 22 Texas A&M at No. 1 Alabama and No. 7 Stanford at No. 20 Oregon. Neither are lining up to be particularly exciting or anything as everyone seems to think that they know exactly what will happen, but who knows.

For these bold predictions, I had to really go into the woodwork and look at every possible matchup- looking at which teams could possibly pull off the “impossible” and impress the world. Could it be Wake Forest or Arizona State? How about the Longhorns or the Red Raiders?

I am not going to pretend that I know what will happen, so if you take my bold predictions and go bet on them- don’t blame me if you lose or anything. But, without further ado, let’s get bold ladies and gentlemen.

5. Stanford & Oregon is way more exciting than anyone could guess.

Many have already decided that this one is a win for Stanford. However, remember when Stanford struggled a bit with USC- the same USC that was just demolished by a less-than-stellar Texas team? Yeah, I do too.

Oregon struggled a bit with San Jose State in Week 3, only winning 35-22. Stanford only beat UC Davis 30-10 last week, so they don’t have much to say either. Stanford running back Bryce Love will be making a return to the field after being out with injury a week ago, so that is exciting for sure- however, how much will he change the game.

My bold prediction? This should be Stanford win, but Oregon gives the Cardinals a run for their money and shows that there is more to the Green and Yellow than super extra Nike uniforms. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the Ducks pull of an upset- the Pac 12 has been insane this season already and no one seems to be safe.
