Week 4 of college football may not have a lot of appeal on the outside looking in, but you’re still going to be glued to your tv. Let’s binge-watch!

Welcome back to the binge-watch guide, your official weekly look at the best games around college football, and the best (probably not) place to plan out your weekend of college football consumption. As we enter week four of the college football season, it feels like we’re still trying to get a feel for this year, and what it will entail.

While we’ve had some awesome games, and some exciting upsets, there really hasn’t been that massive primetime showdown that we usually get several times in a season. Those usually pick up when conference play starts, so that will probably remain true this year, but the lack of heavyweight battles has been a little disappointing.

Unfortunately, that trend continues this week. The biggest games of the week are likely Texas A&M-Alabama and Stanford-Oregon. While those games are fun, I’m not blown away by them, like I will be when Ohio State and Penn State face off next week. Next week is next week though, and we still have to talk about this week’s games first.

Before we do, just like we have in the first three weeks of the year, let’s run down the hit rate of the games I called for you to watch in last week’s binge guide actually being interesting. After a tough first week in which just 44 percent of my picks hit, and an improvement in week two at 64 percent, Week 3 three was my best yet. 11 of my 14 picks (79 percent) ended up being interesting games, including my upset pick of North Texas over Arkansas. Pretty good!
