Saturday: Night-cap

Arizona State at Washington, 10:30 p.m. EST, ESPN

After a pretty good Pac-12 after dark slate last week, this one is significantly lacking, with only two games that I can really generate any interest in. This game is interesting enough to make up for that though. Washington and Arizona State both have very good defenses, and while this may be a low scoring affair, I’m super interested to see what this matchup actually looks like on the field.

One sentence sell: Arizona State’s defense is going to throw a lot of things at Jake Browning, so this may be an upset special.

Eastern Michigan at San Diego State, 10:30 p.m. EST, CBSSN

If you are or aren’t watching this game, you’ve likely already decided that, and I really don’t think I can sway you either way. San Diego State is good and their defense is fun to watch. Eastern Michigan is a pretty good MAC school, and their coach may have a power five job in a couple of years. That’s about it in the way of interest.

One sentence sell: If you’re up and looking for football, this is technically football.
