1. The offense takes a step back

How can we start off the bold predictions with a potential negative? Because Urban Meyer will have a say in how the offensive game plan is called going forward. He won’t take complete control over Ryan Day but it wouldn’t surprise anyone to see a few subtle changes that could have an impact on how good this offense will play.

Ohio State will probably score over 40 points because this offense is too good and is led by one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Dwayne Haskins. Haskins is performing at an excellent level and the receiving corps is playing better than they have in a long time.

He also has Michael Weber and JK Dobbins who have both played good games but have not had the one-two knock out performance we are used to seeing.

Meyer will still let the Buckeye offense run through Coach Day and we should expect Haskins to take a lot of deep shots down the field, but a step back is more than likely with Meyer having the last say over what gets called.
