Defense/Special Teams

Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State

Bosa suffered an abdominal injury last weekend against TCU and is listed as out against Tulane. The potential first overall pick will be missed this weekend, and he has no timetable for a return after having surgery this week.

Jamal Peters, CB, Mississippi State

Peters suffered a knee injury last weekend against Louisiana that will keep him out of their game against Kentucky on Saturday. One of the starting corners for the Bulldogs, Peters is a senior that will be missed now that inexperienced corners Maurice Smitherman and Tyler Williams will need to take his place.

Javaris Davis, CB, Auburn

Davis has a left arm injury that may keep him out against Arkansas. The redshirt junior has significant playing experience over the past three seasons, accumulating 76 tackles and four interceptions. He is currently a starter in Auburn’s secondary as well.

Montrell Custis, DB, Ole Miss

After tearing his ACL, Custis will miss the rest of his redshirt junior season. This was his first season as a starter. Hopefully, he will be able to fully recover and come back strong for the 2019 season.

Chase McGrath, K, USC

McGrath suffered a torn ACL that will keep him out for the rest of 2018. He started as a freshman in 2017 and converted 58-of-59 extra point attempts and 12-of-17 field goal attempts. In just three games in 2018, he converted all six of his extra point attempts and 6-of-8 field goal attempts.
